Singapore 43th Birthday

Hi Primary 5 friends, you get to join some 25,000 primary five students from schools all over Singapore to preview National Day Parade. Last Saturday, some of you guys were at Marina Bay. I am sure you enjoyed the vibrant dances and beautiful floats to the awesome military hardware and stunning aerial display from the Republic of Singapore Air Force. I think it must be the dazzling fireworks display that impressed you.

To witness Singapore Singapore's 43th birthday in advance is a privilege and you must have felt great to live in Singapore. I am too as we live in a safe country. We must remember to continue to pray for our country and leaders to have a safe place to live in.

Now, let's see who is in Primary 5? Shun, David, ............................... who else?

I am hoping to catch the National Day Parade at the Marina Bay but it is no easy task as tickets are hard to come by.

Happy Fathers Day

Fathers Are Wonderful People

Fathers are wonderful people
Ttoo little understood
And we do not sing their praisesas often as we should…

For, somehow, Father seems to be the man who pays the bills
While Mother binds up little hurts and nurses all the ills…
And Father struggles daily to live up to "His image"
As protector and provider and "hero of the scrimmage"…

And perhaps that is the reasonwe sometimes get the notion
That Fathers are not subject to the thing we call emotion,
But if you look inside Dad's heartwhere no one else can see
You'll find he's sentimental and as "soft" as he can be…

But he's so busy every day in the grueling race of life
He leaves the sentimental stuff to his partner and his wife…

But Fathers are just WONDERFUL in a million different ways
And they merit loving compliments and accolades of praise
For the only reason Dad aspires to fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him and bring them happiness…

And like our Heavenly Father, he's a guardian and a guide,
Someone that we can count onto be always on our side.
